Chelsea are back on track in the Champions League after they beat Benfica by a goal to nil at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening.
The Blues took the lead before the 20-minute mark with Alejandro Garnacho's cross being turned into his own net by Richard Rios. After that, it was about keeping control of the match from Enzo Maresca's point of view - and his side pretty much obliged.
In stoppage time, though, there was a big negative. Joao Pedro was red carded meaning there has been a sending off in three of the Blues' last four matches in all competitions.
Chelsea's first points of the Champions League campaign and just their second win in six matches in all competitions. Below, Bobby Vincent - who was live at Stamford Bridge - rates the Chelsea players out of 10 based on their performance this evening.
Robert Sanchez - 6
Sanchez didn't really have much to do. And he will be grateful for that.
Malo Gusto - 6
I always think with a full-back, sometimes the less you notice him, the better. Gusto never really caught my eye during the game. There have been a couple of appearances recently where he caught the eye for the wrong reasons, so that is a positive.
Trevoh Chalobah - 6
Kept his place in the side. A really good piece of defending to prevent Vangelis Pavlidis from potentially scoring in the first-half.
Benoit Badiashile - 6
First start since June 28, where he featured against, ironically, Benfica. Did well. A couple of risky passes that were almost punished but overall, he played the ball out well.
Marc Cucurella - 6
Cucurella started shakily which is unlike him. Gifts Benfica possession on seven minutes and the Portuguese side nearly made him pay by hitting the post. After that, he was involved in pretty much everything down the left side. Got better.
Moises Caicedo - 7
Passed the late fitness test. The way he performed, it didn't look like there was any doubt that he was fit. His typical self in there. Let's hope he survived ahead of a big game against Liverpool at the weekend.
Enzo Fernandez - 7
It's fair to say Fernandez did not receive the best of ovations from the travelling Benfica supporters. The Argentine, though, improved as the game went on after a bit of a rocky start.
Pedro Neto - 8
Starts brightly from the right-hand side. Close to opening the scoring on 17 minutes with a fierce strike from the edge of the box. Moments later, he produces a wonderful delivery to the back post to find Garnacho, who then forces the own goal. Much prefer him on the right wing.
Facundo Buonanotte - 6
Some neat touches from Buonanotte. He's a very intelligent player off the ball and was causing a couple of Benfica midfielders to look over their shoulder constantly and that allowed other Chelsea attackers more space. Comes off on 54 minutes.
Alejandro Garnacho - 7
First start at Stamford Bridge in Chelsea colours. He was direct, always looking to get at the Benfica right-back. Does super well to force the own goal. It wasn't easy crossing it on the volley on your weaker foot like that, but he did really well with his connection. His rating would have been higher but his shooting was way off.
Tyrique George - 4
Back in the false nine role. Didn't get involved too much. That is the problem when he plays there, it feels too often as if games pass him by. It's an unnatural position for the 19-year-old, to be fair.
Estevao Willian (on for Buonanotte 54') - 7
Played in the No.10 role. Immediately after coming on, he plucks one from the sky in exquisite fashion before going on a little bit of a solo run and that was met with a huge roar in Stamford Bridge.
Joao Pedro (on for George 61') - 3
Stupidly sent off. Two yellow cards in just over 30 minutes. Enzo Maresca will not be pleased.
Jamie Gittens (on for Garnacho 61') - 4
Immediately looked to take his man on, but was not always successful. Unfortunately not able to make too much of an impact from the bench. Really wasn't his night.
Reece James (on for Gusto 80') - N/A
Not enough time to make an impact, really.
Josh Acheampong (on for Badiashile) - N/A
Nice to see him get some more minutes.
