The application process for recruitment to the posts of Assistant (Scale I, II, and III) has started at the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Candidates who want to apply for these posts can do so by visiting the official website. Let us tell you, a total of 13,217 eligible candidates will be appointed through this recruitment process. The last date to apply for these posts has been fixed as 21 September 2025.
Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates to apply for the post of Assistant Grade-B is 18 years, and the maximum age is 28 years. Apart from this, the minimum age of the candidates to apply for the posts of Officer Grade-A is 18 to 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 to 40 years. Also, age relaxation will be provided to the candidates. SC and ST candidates will be given 5 5-year relaxation, and OBC candidates will be given 3 3-year relaxation in the age limit.
Educational Qualification
To apply for these posts, candidates must have completed a graduation degree in the relevant subject or its equivalent subject from a recognized institute in India. Also, candidates should have other prescribed eligibility and work experience.
Application fee
Candidates will also have to pay an application fee to apply. Application fee for SC, ST, and Divyang candidates has been fixed at Rs 175, and for general category candidates, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 850.
How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary examination and written examination. In the preliminary examination, candidates will be asked 80 multiple choice type questions of 80 marks from Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude subjects. Candidates who are successful in this examination will be called for the main examination.
