To avail the benefits of this scheme, the age of women applying should be between 18 and 70 years, and the minimum educational qualification required is 10th pass. However, existing agents or employees of LIC and their close relatives are not eligible for this scheme. Relatives include husband-wife, parents, children, siblings, and in-laws. Similarly, retired employees and former agents will also not be reappointed under this scheme.
