Metro Rules: The metro is considered one of the safest modes of urban transportation in India. CCTV cameras and Central Industrial Security Force security personnel monitor it 24 hours a day, allowing passengers to travel with peace of mind. But today, we're going to discuss the prohibited items that may be confiscated during security checks. Let's find out.
Weapons such as knives, scissors, swords, blades, and pistols are prohibited on the metro under any circumstances. All these items pose a serious threat to passenger safety.
Screwdrivers, pliers, testers, and other hand-held tools are also prohibited, as they can be used as weapons.
Any explosive material, such as hand grenades, gunpowder, firecrackers, and plastic explosives, is strictly prohibited on the Metro.
Flammable materials, such as cooking gas cylinders, petroleum, paint, and wet batteries, are strictly prohibited due to the risk of fire inside Metro stations and trains.
Oil, ghee, or other liquids cannot be carried openly. They must be stored in airtight containers to prevent spillage or any other hazard.
Toy guns, swords, or other weapons are also prohibited, as these can cause panic among passengers and could be mistaken for a real threat.
