Pakistanemerged victorious by a resounding 93-run margin against Oman in Match 4 of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Three bowlers from Pakistan picked up a couple of wickets apiece as Oman were bowled out for 67 in 16.4 overs.
Earlier in the day, Saim Ayub (0 off 1) fell early in the piece after Pakistan opted to bat upon winning the toss. Sahibzada Farhan (29 off 29) anchored the innings while Mohammad Haris (66 off 43) took Pakistan to a better state than they were in. However, three wickets in quick succession by Aamir Kaleem (3/31 in four overs) pegged Pakistan back as they ended up posting a middling 160/7 after 20 overs.
Out to chase, Oman lost a couple of wickets inside the powerplay itself before a middle-order meltdown meant that they were seven down by the halfway mark. Their innings eventually folded meekly for 67 as Ayub, Sufiyan Muqeem and Faheem Ashraf all picked up a couple of wickets apiece. Hammad Mirza (27 off 23) was Oman's top-scorer.
