Saiyaara sets new global record on OTT: Where to watch Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda's hit movie online

Saiyaara is showing no signs of slowing down after its digital release. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film stars newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in the lead roles and has crossed Rs 500 crore at the box office. Now, the Bollywood romantic drama has become the most-watched non-English film globally on the OTT platform Netflix. Saiyaara surpassed the German thriller Fall For Me and the Hindi original Inspector Zende to claim the top spot on the global charts.

Saiyaara makes history on OTT platform

According to Netflix's global stats platform Tudum, Saiyaara is currently the number one non-English film in the world. The movie has clocked 3.7 million views and 9.3 million hours watched. In second place is Fall For Me, with 6.5 million hours viewed, followed by Inspector Zende starring Manoj Bajpayee, which holds the third spot with 6.2 million hours.


Among Indian titles, Kingdom featuring Vijay Deverakonda also made it to the top 10, landing at number 9 with 2.5 million hours viewed globally.


On Wednesday afternoon (September 17), Netflix India dropped a video featuring Saiyaara’s lead actors, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, as they reacted to the film’s incredible response on the platform. In the clip, the duo thanked fans for the overwhelming love and support, saying the film's global success was possible only because of the audience’s continued viewing. The film was released on Netflix, last Friday.
