PL Capital, a financial services organisation that’s part of the Prabhudas Lilladher Group, has appointed Zarin Daruwala as group chief executive, effective October 13.
“Zarin’s arrival marks an important milestone in our mission to build an enduring, institutionally governed organisation–one that combines heritage and trust with capabilities and scale,” said Amisha Vora, chairperson and managing director of PL Capital.
At PL Capital, Daruwala will oversee the group’s expansion across broking and distribution, institutional equities, investment banking, corporate advisory, private credit, wealth management and asset management businesses.
“The group has a strong foundation, deep market knowledge, and a client-first ethos,” Daruwala said. “I am energised by the vision to build a future-ready financial services platform that delivers innovation, value, and impact.”
Daruwala, who has over 35 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector, previously served as chief executive for India and South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank. During her tenure, she led the lender’s transformation in retail and corporate banking, focusing on wealth management and strategic growth.
