Janhvi Kapoor made her debut with the 2018 film 'Dhadak'. The audience liked this film very much. Ishaan Khattar was seen with her in the film. It was a hit at the box office. Now the makers have brought their second part, 'Dhadak 2', which is going to be released in theaters on Friday, August 1, 2025. Tripti Dimri (Vidhi) and Siddhant Chaturvedi (Nilesh) are in the lead roles in this film. The taste of 'Dhadak 2' is the same as 'Dhadak', only this time there is a new love story of Vidhi and Nilesh. So let us tell you how the film 'Dhadak 2' is.

This time, the film focuses on caste, insult, and respect. If we talk about the story of the film, then there is nothing new. The same Bollywood love stories, in which the girl is from a good family and the boy is from a very ordinary family. Just this time, the makers made caste the main topic instead of the rich and poor. The film is good, the chemistry between Tripti and Siddhant is also good, there is no flaw in the direction… only the story seems a little weak. The story of the film revolves around Vidhi and Nilesh, who belong to different castes. Vidhi belongs to a good family, and Nilesh to a poor family. Everyone in Vidhi's house is educated and he is the only boy in Nilesh's house who is studying.
He wants to become a lawyer and wants to fight for justice after studying. He also gets admission to a law college in Kota. The film shows what difficulties a student from Kota has to face in college. Vidhi is also studying in the same college where he is studying BA LLB. Being in the same class, they become closer. Both of them start loving each other. Vidhi is a modern and open-minded girl for whom caste does not matter, but her family gives priority to caste and pays a lot of attention to all these things. Their society matters a lot to them.
When Vidhi's family comes to know about this, they harass Nilesh a lot and advise him to stay away from Vidhi. Nilesh is repeatedly told who he is, where he lives, and what his status is. Nilesh gets very upset with all this and then what does he do? Does he go away from Vidhi? Does everything end between Vidhi and Nilesh? Now, to get answers to all these questions, you will have to go to the theatres and watch the entire film.
There is no doubt that Siddharth has put his heart and soul into the character of Nilesh. His acting will make you emotional, or you will be forced to cry in some scenes. At the same time, Tripti has also played a slightly different character this time, in which she looks good. Vidhi is a very bold girl who is not afraid to speak the truth. The way Tripti has changed her style for the character of Vidhi it will be nice to see it in the film. Also, Saurabh Sachdeva's character is very strong. His screen space may be less in the film, but whenever he comes on screen, the film becomes strong. The film is directed by Shazia Iqbal, who has paid attention to every small and big thing in the film in a very brilliant way.

The first part of the film moves at a good pace, but the pace of the second part slows down a lot, due to which the film also slows down a bit, but by the time it reaches the climax, the film again picks up its pace. The background score of the film is good, but if the music had been a little more powerful, then perhaps it could have become a perfect film. Well, now only time will tell how much love this film gets from the audience. Overall, this is an entertaining film which you can watch with your entire family, and the fun you had watching 'Dhadak', you will have the same fun watching 'Dhadak 2'. From my side, the film gets 3 stars out of 5.
