     Practice Active Listening
Listening is the most important part of communication. When your child is speaking, pay full attention. Stay away from your phone or TV, look them in the eye, and don't interrupt them. Try to understand their feelings. This will make them feel important.
Understand Emotions
Don't ignore children's emotions. Whether they're happiness, anger, or fear, acknowledge their feelings. Saying things like, "You seem upset about this," or "This seems to be scaring you," helps children understand and express their emotions. This helps them become emotionally intelligent.
Use clear and simple language.

Spend some time daily with your child without distractions. Spend this time engaging in activities they enjoy—playing, telling stories, or simply talking. During this time, ask about their hobbies and ideas, and listen fully. This builds mutual trust.
Healthy communication is an art that requires time and patience. Start with small conversations and gradually incorporate these tips into your routine. When your child feels heard and their opinions are important, they will be more likely to share openly and develop a healthy relationship with you.
