Satna (Madhya Pradesh): The police have registered a case against the wife of former Congress legislator Neelanshu Chaturvedi, Archana, in connection with the suicide of her domestic hand.
Her 24-year-old maid Suman committed suicide on July 29 with a revolver which was issued in the name of Archana. The charge against her was that she had failed to keep her firearms safely.
The police arrested a youth, 22-year-old Arvind aka Rajju Yadav who had an affair with Suman. During the interrogation of Yadav, it came to light that he mentally tortured Suman.
According to the Chitrakoot police, Arvind is originally a resident of the Banda district of Uttar Pradesh. But before his arrest, Arvind was living at Hanuman Gaushala (cowshed) in Chitrakoot. A case has been registered against Archana under the Arms Act.

Suman also sold vegetables with her family members. Both Suman and Arvind fell in love with each other.
After Suman’s mother, Sudhia Nishad, came to know of it, she fixed Suman’s marriage with another youth from Katni. So, Suman left Arvind. Arvind then gave her a mobile phone, saying that they could talk to each other till her wedding, but her mother came to know of it snatched the mobile phone from her.
Arvind gave her another mobile phone.
Her mother snatched the second phone from Suman who was upset about her wedding and her relationship with Arvind. So, she committed suicide. The police arrested Arvind on the basis of his call details, and confiscated Archana’s revolver.
Both Suman and her mother were working in the house of the former MLA of the Congress.
