Rohit Pawar, MLA from the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction), has been unanimously elected as the president of the Maharashtra Rashtra Kustigir Parishad. Alongside him, Vijay Barate and other key office bearers have also been elected unopposed, marking a new chapter in the state’s wrestling administration.
Calling it a moment of recognition for consistent work across various sectors, Rohit Pawar expressed deep gratitude to all district teams and voters for their trust. He described the opportunity as a major responsibility and promised to make every effort to restore the pride and legacy of wrestling in Maharashtra.
