On the very first day of SSC CGL 2025 exam, the paper was cancelled at many centres in Delhi, Jammu and Gurugram. Due to which lakhs of candidates are angry, now the exam will be held on new dates.

SSC CGL 2025 (Combined Graduate Level Exam), one of the biggest examinations of Staff Selection Commission (SSC), started today, but there was chaos at many centers from the very first day. About 28 lakh candidates from all over the country are appearing in this exam, but reports of technical and administrative problems came from many centers in Delhi, Gurugram and Jammu.
The exam was to be held in three shifts
. SSC had scheduled the CGL exam in three shifts. First shift: from 9 am to 10 am, second shift: from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm and third shift: from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. But students had to face problems at many places since morning.
Exams canceled in Gurugram
The examination was canceled in MM Public School of Gurugram, along with this, the paper could not be held in Bharti Vidya Niketan School of Delhi due to administrative reasons. In the notice issued by SSC, it has been told that the students who had exams today at these two places, their exams will now be held on 24, 25 and 26 September 2025.
The exam could not be held in Jammu due to technical reasons
The first shift paper was also cancelled at the Digital Computer Education Centre in Jammu. In a notice issued by SSC (North West Region), it was said that this examination could not be conducted due to technical difficulties, and now the examination of the candidates here will be held on 26 September 2025.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has appealed to the candidates to be patient. The commission said that all the students will be informed about the new dates as soon as possible and their examination will be conducted properly. SSC has also assured that strict steps will be taken to prevent such problems in future.
In a big exam like SSC CGL, the hopes of lakhs of students were dashed due to technical and administrative glitches on the very first day. The anger of the students was clearly visible due to the cancellation or delay of the exam in Delhi, Gurugram and Jammu. Now everyone's eyes are fixed on whether the exam will be conducted smoothly in the coming days or more problems will come up.
