UP Politics: The power of this political party increased in the assembly in UP, and got big relief after 100 days

UP Politics: Abbas Ansari, who was an MLA from Mau seat of UP, has been reinstated as MLA again. After this the strength of Subhaspa has increased in the UP Assembly. Subhaspa now has six MLAs in UP.

 

 

 

 

Abbas Ansari, son of Uttar Pradesh mafia Mukhtar Ansari, has been reinstated as MLA from Mau assembly seat. The assembly secretariat issued an order related to this on 8 September. After which the strength of Om Prakash Rajbhar's Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party has increased further in the UP assembly. The number of MLAs of Subhaspa in UP has increased to six. 

 

Abbas Ansari won the election from Mau assembly seat in 2022 on a Subhaspa ticket. But on May 31 this year, the MP-MLA court of Mau sentenced him to two years in the hate speech case, after which his assembly membership was canceled on June 1. 

Rajbhar's power increased in UP assembly

After Abbas Ansari's membership was cancelled, Subhaspa lost one MLA and their total number of MLAs came down from six to five. After Abbas lost his membership, Mau seat was declared vacant after which preparations were made to hold elections there but in the meantime Abbas challenged the lower court's decision in Allahabad High Court. 

On August 20, the High Court stayed the sentencing of Abbas Ansari. After which his membership of the legislature was restored once again on September 8. After Abbas's membership was restored, the strength of Om Prakash Rajbhar's party has increased again and the number of Subhaspa MLAs has once again increased to six. 

At present, in the UP assembly, apart from Abbas Ansari (Mau), there are six Subhaspa MLAs - Om Prakash Rajbhar (Jahurabad seat), Hansu Ram (Belthara seat), Triveni Ram (Jakhanian), Doodh Ram (Mahadeva) and Jagdish Narayan (Jafrabad). 

 

Subhaspa fought the 2022 UP assembly elections in alliance with the Samajwadi Party. In this election, Subhaspa won six seats. However, later the distance between Akhilesh Yadav and Om Prakash Rajbhar increased and then this alliance broke. Later Om Prakash Rajbhar went with the NDA and now he is a cabinet minister in the Yogi government.
