Bhopal: In a significant move to establish Madhya Pradesh as a world-class tourism destination, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is set to host the state's largest-ever travel and tourism exhibition, the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2025, from October 11th to 13th, 2025. The event will take place at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre in Bhopal.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism, Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, announced that the event, organized in collaboration with FICCI, will be a grand confluence positioning Madhya Pradesh as the "Heart of Incredible India" on the global map. The primary objective is to boost tourist inflow, open new avenues for economic growth, and create local employment opportunities through tourism development.

The three-day mart is expected to bring together over 700 participants, including more than 80 foreign tour operators from 27 countries and 150 domestic tour operators. With 355 sellers, the event will facilitate over 3,000 pre-scheduled Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings—the largest business engagement ever in the state's tourism sector.
Sheo Shekhar Shukla, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism, highlighted that MPTM 2025 will showcase the state’s rich and diverse offerings, including heritage, wildlife, rural culture, handicrafts, cuisine, and film tourism, all under one roof across 120 exhibition stalls. Live demonstrations of Gond Art and Chanderi saree weaving will be key attractions.
