Celebrity Traitors viewers all say the same thing about cast seconds into debut episode

Send Push

For months, The Traitors fans have been for the Celebrity Traitors to land on screens, and tonight they sat down to watch as a cast of 19 star studded celebrities headed off to Scotland to partake.

Just like the original series, the BBC show is hosted by Strictly Come Dancing host, Claudia Winkleman. The rules of the game are the exact same, but fans can expect a number of different twists to the show.

However, there's one huge difference which could change the game - the familiarity of the players. Having all circled around the showbiz world, many of them are familiar with each other on the outside - meaning it may be easier for them to sense who's lying.

The prize of course, is different too, with the celebrities competing to win £100,000 for a charity of their choice. In the regular series, the Faithful and Traitors battle it out for a cash prize of up to £120,000.

Stars such as Kate Garraway, Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr have headed up to Scotland - in a game that's sure to bring all the drama. As fans sat down to watch the first episode, it seemed like they were overjoyed as they all said the same thing just seconds in.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "Oh i adore this cast already can we just have 9 days of watching them do challenges."

Another wrote: "I'’m actually obsessed with this cast already 10/10 from the bbc!" while a third penned: "This casting an actual all celeb cast for once in a show!!"

A fourth overjoyed fan agreed: "This is such a stellar cast, TV will never be this good again," with another writing: "I cannot and will not get over this cast. It is the most premium celebrity cast a celebrity format has ever seen!"

It will be the same again for viewers tomorrow night, as fans will be treated to two episodes per week.

Episode two will be airing tomorrow at the same time of 9pm, but after that, unfortunately fans will have to wait until next Wednesday for the third instalment.

There will be nine episodes of the show in total, with the final episode, episode nine, airing on Wednesday 5 November, 9pm on BBC One.

If two episodes a week isn't enough for fans to get their fix, they can head to BBC Two after the show airs, to join Ed Gamble for a celebrity edition of The Traitors Uncloaked. The Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked will be available to watch at 10:15pm on BBC Two or on BBC iPlayer.
