Coronation Street fans have predicted that DS Lisa Swain will be part of Theo Silverton's downfall on the ITV soap following Friday night's episode.
Fans of the world's longest-running TV soap will know that Theo (James Cartwright) has been exhibiting controlling behaviour towards boyfriend Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) in recent weeks, having stopped him from going out socialising and slyly insulting him over his body amongst other things.
When Theo made his debut on the programme, he was introduced as a married man who had two kids with wife Danielle (Natalie Anderson) before it was revealed that he had been put through conversion therapy earlier in life. After his wife left him one his affair with Todd was exposed, she struck up a relationship with homophobic church clerk Noah Hedley (Richard Winsor) and he has twisted the mind of Theo's teenage son Miles (Lewis William Magee).

Things took a turn for the worse earlier this week when Miles took it upon himself to attack Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank), the openly gay vicar who once had a relationship with Todd. On Friday, Miles apologised to Billy for his actions but to his surprise, DS Lisa Swain turned up to arrest him at Summer Spellman's (Harriet Bibby) 21st birthday party.
Down at the police station, Theo joined his son as Lisa, who has become a fan favourite thanks to her relationship with Carla Connor (Alison King), probed him with questions. She said: "This Noah character you were flyering for..." before the teenager insisted that he was 'no longer involved with him'. Theo immediately confirmed this and Lisa said: "I'm going to recommend you get a warning, but if anything like this were to happen again..." before he assured her it would not.
Lisa refused to confirm or deny whether Billy had reported him, but a furious Theo stormed over the Bistro where he managed to get the truth out of the local vicar. Billy explained: "I just asked Lisa to have a word with him, I didn't think she'd arrest him" but Theo shot back: "If he'd have been charged that could have affected his whole life."
When Billy pleaded that Miles simply cannot go around peddling that kind of hate, Theo stormed out after yelling: "Don't you lecture me on what my son can and cannot do" before storming out. "
At number 11, Todd told Theo that there was no need to be 'so aggressive' over the situation but then Theo banned Todd from seeing Billy. Todd said: "You can't tell me not to be friends with him, we go back years," but Theo snarled: "We all know about your history. Don't you think that's part of the problem? You're more naïve than I thought!"
Later on, over at the pub, Billy was on the verge of tears as he chatted to barmaid Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) about how he thinks he had just lost someone he cared about.
Theo and Todd strolled in, and Theo demanded that Todd ask Billy to apologise for his actions. When Billy refused to do so, an emotional Todd told him to 'stay out of my way from now on' as he took a seat away from him.
Viewers will know that Billy's exit from the programme has been confirmed, but a flurry of fans rushed to X to predict that Lisa will actually turn out to be instrumental in Theo's downfall.
One fan wrote on X: "I cannot wait for for the day Lisa brings Theo down after everything that's going to happen with Todd", and another fan agreed as they wrote: "Every Corrie fan will literally scream yesssss when she does!"
A third said: "Cannot wait for the day that our Swainy arrests Theo for being an abusive piece of s***!! It’s coming and I am SAT!"
