Brooklyn Beckham gave an emotional speech at his wedding vow ceremony in which he heaped praise on his wife Nicola Peltz’s family. Insiders say that Brooklyn also “spoke movingly” of his wife during the address in front of 200 guests at his father-in-law’s estate on August 2.
A source close to the couple said: “He spoke from the heart - and at the centre of his heart is Nicola who he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice.”
News of the “heartfelt tribute” to Nicola’s parents, Nelson and Claudia, will add to the agony of the Beckham family, who have been cut out of his life. It’s understood there was no similar tribute to his own parents, David, 50 and Victoria, 51.

The service saw actress Nicola, 30, wear a remodelled version of her mum Claudia’s wedding dress, with proceedings presided over by her dad.
News of the speech comes as friends of the Beckhams are already “terribly worried” that Brooklyn is acting “desperately out of character.” The Lola actress has been accused of isolating her husbandfrom not only his parents, but his extended family and friends too.
The whole Beckham clan - Cruz, Romeo, sister Harper, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins - were left out of the celebration in the US. There is also disappointment in some quarters about the “gratuitous” nature of the event with the couple posting dozens of pictures of the big day.
Some feel the Peltz-Beckham family are “pushing it down the Beckham family’s throat”. Many comments on the couple’s social media channels appear to agree with this narrative and are broadly supportive of David and Victoria.
However. the Mirror told at the weekend how Brooklyn was said to be heartbroken his wife is being blamed for his family’s absence from their vow renewals.
A source said: “It’s so rooted in misogyny. Everyone seems to forget Brooklyn is an adult man, fully capable of speaking out. Nicola would have respected all that he chose. It breaks his heart to see her painted as this vixen and viper.”
Aspiring chef Brooklyn, 36, has yet to formally address the row. But this week he gave the clearest sign yet of how he felt by liking an online post that asked: “Why is it assumed she made the decision to exclude them? If he really wanted his parents there, they would be.”
News of the feud between Brooklyn and his family first emerged earlier this year when he missed his father's 50th birthday in London. But the feud has seemingly widened beyond his parents to include his brothers as well. A source said: "It's just all so sad."
