Many of David Beckham's former team-mates insist his wife Victoria isn't nearly as prim and proper as she appears. To the outside world, Posh Spice has long been the epitome of polished perfection - the fashion mogul with an air of untouchable sophistication.
But peel back the layers and a very different picture emerges, one painted vividly by David's old colleagues. According to a number of well-placed sources, Victoria isn't the icy diva she's often characterised as. In reality, she's warm, funny and surprisingly down-to-earth.
Wayne Rooney, who spent six years teaming with 'Golden Balls' with England, shared a great example. On his podcast, The Wayne Rooney Show, he talked about an evening at the Beckham's house during David's Real Madrid days in the mid-2000s - and what he thought would be fancy dinner ended up being a dirty kebab night.
"I remember years ago we got invited to Becks' for dinner. It was me, Lamps [Frank Lampard] and couple more players," Rooney said. "We went to his house, me and Coleen, we were only 19 or something.
"We were like, 'this is weird, what's happening here?' We sat there with Becks and Victoria having dinner, it was like… [it wasn't posh]… we were having kebabs."

The house might have been full of footballers, but that didn't stop Victoria being the heart of the party. "She's such a lovely woman and funny," Rooney added. "A lot funnier than people think."
Another story comes from Carlos Pavon Jr, the son of Beckham's former LA Galaxy team-mate Carlos Pavon. In 2007, the Beckhams threw a big birthday party for one of their sons at a park full of trampolines and bouncy castles.
Pavon Jr, who was 12 at the time, was jumping on a trampoline with Beckham's son when, out of nowhere, Victoria joined them. "I notice the kid's mum comes in, David's wife, Victoria," he said on the La Pelota Al DIEZ podcast. "She started jumping with us, and I was like, 'I can't believe I'm doing this with Victoria Beckham.'
"So I think that was the funniest thing. Everybody saw when she came in and started jumping with us, so when I came out, I think they all saw my surprised face, like, 'Wow, that just happened.' It was really funny."
These stories from different times and places show the same thing: Victoria isn't the cold, glamour queen people think. She's warm, quick with a joke, and happy to join in, whether it's eating kebabs or jumping on a trampoline.
In the past, David has said her humour is a big part of their 25-year marriage, and now his team-mates are letting us in on the secret. The pair have been together since 1997. They got engaged in 1998 and tied the knot a year later, becoming the UK's - and one the world's - most iconic couples.
David and Victoria have four children: sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper. The three boys have all played in Arsenal's academy, with Brooklyn reaching U-16 level.
