Davina McCall joined Alex Jones and Roman Kemp on The One Show on Tuesday night, as she spoke about being 'scared and vulnerable' during her first pregnancy.
The 51-year-old mother of three has recently released new book, Birthing. The book, written alongside a team of experts, midwives and psychologists and is basically "a bible" for pregnant women. It comes after the release of her best selling book, Menopausing.
However, Davina revealed that she wanted to write the book 20 years ago, when she was going through pregnancy herself, but said she was only seen as a Big Brother presenter back then.

Speaking about her experience, Davina said: "When I gave birth the first time in particular, I was so raw, frightened and vulnerable, but felt so strong and powerful.
"But I would have listened to anybody because I didn't know what the truth was. I thought there needed to be a book written by a brilliant midwife and lots of experts, that is the absolute solid scientific truth. Where you can get all the answers that you need to get the birth that you want."
Davina McCall gave birth to her first Holly, in September 2001, at 24 years old, with her then-husband Matthew Robertson.

The release of the book comes after a difficult year for Davina. During last night's NTAs, the formerBig Brother presenter said she 'didn't think she'd be here' as she opened up about her difficult year. It comes after the presenter underwent surgery to have a benign brain tumour removed last year.
Weeks before her surgery, the star tearfully accepted the Special Recognition Award at the 2024 National Television Awards.
Last night, Davina returned to the awards happier and healthier than ever, as she reflected on the past year. "Last year, I knew I had a brain tumour and I knew I was being operated on six weeks later and I picked up the award, which meant so much to me," she said in the NTAs winners' room.
"Everybody else knew why it meant so much to me. It just meant the world to me because I wasn't sure where I was going to be six weeks later. You know, what my life would look like."
Elsewhere, her boyfriend Michael Douglas teased wedding plans between the two. “There could be wedding bells on the way, who knows, I’m not going anywhere else if that’s why you mean.
"But we’re in no rush for any of that, we just enjoy each others company," he told the Mirror.
