New Emmerdale star Chris Coghill left one co-star "in tears" during filming recently thanks to his "brilliant" portrayal of new character Kev.
We met Kev on the ITV soap recently, with him revealed to be the secret husband of Robert Sugden. The pair married while in prison, with Robert not expecting to be released at the time.
Since his return to the village months ago, he has not mentioned Kev - only for Kev to show up and drop a bombshell. While Kev is in prison for now it seems he may make his way to the village soon, with him filming with other characters.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Vinny Dingle actor Bradley Johnson has revealed he will feature in scenes with the character in upcoming episodes. While he remained coy over what the scenes were and what the context was, he did spill that Vinny will be in scenes with Kev for whatever reason, in a matter of weeks.

Bradley admitted that Chris' portrayal of Kev left him "in tears" because he was laughing so much. He confessed there were funny scenes ahead for the character, and he couldn't keep a straight face during filming.
He told us: "You know what, he's a great character. He's such a funny character. I can't give anything away but there's a scene we filmed recently and it was so fun to film.
"I couldn't get through it there were tears streaming down my eyes. My shoulders were going. The audience are going to love it, that's all I can say but it's brilliant."
So there we have it, there's plenty of comedy on the way for Kev! So much so, Kev, and actor Chris, left his co-stars in hysterics. Bradley believes fans will love the scenes, and he's not the only one.
Fellow Emmerdale stars Bradley Riches and Shebz Miah both told The Mirror that fans would "grow to love Kev", while there were some big twists ahead for the newcomer.
Bradley said: "I think with Kev's character as well, if you're a Robron-er you may hate him at the beginning, but you will grow to love him. I feel like you see the character evolve.
"You see different things that are gonna happen later down the line. You do grow to love Kev." It's safe to say there won't be just one twist too where Kev is concerned.
Shebz shared: "There's a lot of twists and turns, obviously in Emmerdale fashion. But it's someting so interesting for the fans. They are gonna be hooked. It's what we needed with the amount of twists."
Bradley teased fans might see more aggression from Kev, as he shared: "He's so unpredictable, Kev. My God." Shebz agreed: "So unpredictable."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , and Threads.
