Turkish singer Gül Tut, better known by her stage name Güllü, has tragically died at the age of 51 after falling from the balcony of her sixth-floor home in Çnarck, Yalova.
Her son Tuberk Yaz confirmed the heartbreaking news on social media just hours after the incident, dispelling rumours that his mother had taken her own life.
He posted on Instagram: "I am posting this message to share sad news. The suicide reports circulating on social media are unfounded. I will share developments regarding the funeral here. May she rest in peace."

Reports suggest that the star was sitting on the balcony with her daughter and a family friend around 3am when she suddenly felt unwell and fell. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Yalova Governor's Office released a statement saying that they were informed about a "fall from height" in Harmanlar Neighbourhood on Vali Ak Street, and officials were dispatched to the location.
The statement read: "When officials arrived at the address, it was understood that the artist known as 'Güllü,' Gül Tut, fell from the window while having fun with her daughter and her daughter's friend, and the health team's examination revealed that she had passed away. Following the instructions received from the Public Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been initiated by our Çnarck District Police Department regarding the 'fall from height' incident,"

Tributes have been pouring in for the singer, who started her career at the tender age of 15 performing in wedding halls and shot to fame with her Romani-inspired tunes.
One heartbroken fan wrote on Facebook: "The news is true, unfortunately, I'm deeply saddened. The artist of our childhood, may God grant her rest in peace. I'm deeply saddened.
"They're leaving one by one. The treasures of our youth, may God grant her rest in peace."
another penned. A third added: "We've lost a very valuable artist. May God grant patience to her family. May God have mercy on her, may she rest in peace.
"May God have mercy on her. May she rest in peace. I loved her songs, you taught me how to live without you. She didn't deserve such an end," another shared.
Meanwhile, a fifth posted: "May God have mercy on her. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her loved ones, may God grant them peace."
Güllü was a leading figure in Turkish arabesque and fantasy music, releasing several successful albums.
Among her hits are Eyim Oldun, Sabah Olmadan, Ödüm Kopuyor, Demezmi Sana, Kopamam Senden, Oyuncak Gibi, Acmyorsan, Unutamazsn Beni, Bendeki Sen, and Varln Yeter.
