Jack Tweed has broken his silence following news of Freddy Brazier's impending fatherhood. Jeff Brazier and Jade Goody's youngest son is reportedly set to become a dad as his ex is pregnant.
Now, Jack – who was married to Freddy's mum Jade before her death – has had his say on Freddy's new chapter. He is convinced that fatherhood will "do him the world of good" as he spoke publicly for the first time about the news.
"It was a surprise for him, but I'm hoping - along with everyone else - that it might do him the world of good. It makes you grow up. I was younger than Freddy is now when I met Jade," he said.

"I know after Jade went away, I went down a wrong path... but at the beginning, it does really make you grow up and shows you what really matters in life – not those doughnuts that he's been hanging about with."

Jack also opened up about his close bond with Freddy. Speaking to the Mail, he added: "Now he doesn't speak to [his grandmother] Jackiey, I'm probably the only one who makes him feel close to his mum. So, yeah, he trusts me and he does tend to open up to me. I speak to him quite a lot, we're friendly.
"I haven't really given him too much advice about fatherhood, it's just early stages at the minute, but I'm going to meet up with him next week, and then we'll catch up. For now, it's more about just concentrating on him being on the right path and making sure he's going to be alright to be there as a dad, which is what he wants."
Just yesterday, Freddygave an update on his love lifeas he prepares to become a dad. He said: "I'm actually quite nervous about chatting to girls on the street or in public. If I'm going to do it, I'll arrange something through Instagram or TikTok. If a girl gives me a compliment, I do get a bit shy, and I do get a bit red."
Freddy lost his mum when he was just four years old and he admits he's only just started processing the loss. He explained: "I'm still processing it now, to be honest. I only really started processing it in my late teens because when she passed, I was too young."
Jeff is said to have been supporting his son amid news of him becoming a dad. A source said: "It has blindsided him and has been one of the things that has really brought him and his dad back together, but it's so devastating that Jade isn't here to see it. Jeff was one of the first people he decide to confide in to ask for advice, and he stepped up straight away and wanted to help in any way he could."
