Katie Price has opened up about the breakdown of her marriage to Peter Andre – but insists there are "happy memories". The former glamour model and telly star was joined by her friend Kerry Katona for the opening night of their joint tour at Marine Hall in Fleetwood tonight, where the friends of more than two decades spoke openly about their lives.
Price, 47, and Katona, 45, will head to the likes of New Brighton, Ellsmere Port, Stockport and London on their tour. During opening night, talk soon turned to their ex-husbands.
It comes after Katie found herself under fire from her first husband, Peter, who issued a blistering statement as he vowed that things ought to stop. Taking to Instagram, Andre said he would be setting the record straight following "repeated lies" from Price and her family, throughout which he had stayed silent.

He said: "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.
"In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.
"In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months."
While on stage, Kerry joked that she was sorry for setting Katie and Peter up while they were appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Katie explained that after they left the jungle, Peter already had a management team due to his pop career.

"Well, he had a manager," she said, adding: "When I came out, because I wanted to be with Pete and Pete wanted to be with me, I needed to be careful how I word things now..." as Kerry interrupted, saying: "I'll say it." Katie added: "She ended up managing me and Pete and... There were three of us in the marriage."
Katie continued: "There are memories. They were very good memories. I’ve suffered 16 years cause of it, from when I split up I've had 16 years of hell. But I'm glad now that the truth is coming out on social media and people are seeing." An audience member told the Mirror: "Kerry jumped in joking saying 'I'll say it' when Katie seemed hesitant to talk candidly due to legal concerns. There was a huge wave of support for her when she did open up. Say what you like about Katie but she has a fierce support base."
This week, Katie found herself at Number Two on the Official Download Charts with her 2017 track, I Got U, with sources claiming it was "revenge" after a turbulent time. A source told us that the move had left Katie "on top of the world."
"Katie is delighted – and it feels like real revenge to everyone after all of the drama that’s been going on recently," says our source. "She won't go quietly where the haters are concerned – she's been so hurt and feels like she’s always painted as the bad guy, so this has truly picked her up when she needed it most."
Legions of fans have stood by Katie with their show of support for her single and buying tickets to the show – something, claims the source, that’s making a high-pressure situation a little easier to cope with. "It's not been easy for Katie having to defend herself over and over again when it comes to her exes. She feels like she's a good mum and has actually held a lot of what has gone on back," they say. "She was always going to come out fighting, but it's nice for her to have some support and something for herself for once – she appreciates it."
