Linda Robsonhas confessed everyone is worrying about the cost-cutting measures being brought into ITV hit show Loose Women. The panellist candidly opened up about the unrest the team is facing, with the axe ready to swing for some of the cast members.
The chat show is a current staple of the channel's mid-morning and afternoon slots. But things are about to change dramatically as a rejig is to be enforced.
With Loose Women set to air for only 30 weeks each year in one of the major changes for the show, Linda, 67, fears for what is coming. She said: "I think everyone is worried about the changes, but you just try and stay positive, don’t you?

"I have a few other things in the pipeline, so hopefully Lesley [Joseph] and I will do something together."
Her comments come after Sherrie Hewson previously slammed the decision to change the show. Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, she said: "Women of all ages, those up to 95 down to younger women at home with young children, it's like therapy to them.
"It feels cruel and sad that they've decided to cut the episodes on Loose Women which is a show that can bring anger and emotions."
As well as the shorter running time, Loose Women from next year will also be filmed without a live audience.
Loose Women and other ITV Daytime brands - like Lorraine, which will also run for 30 weeks - are currently broadcast from Television Centre in White City, London, an entity owned by the BBC. But the budget cuts are seeing the shows relocate to private members' club in London.
Managing Director at ITV Studios Daytime, Emma Gormley, said after the announcement: "As we work towards more cutting-edge and efficient ways to produce Daytime shows in 2026.
"This move to The H Club studio offers state-of-the-art technology that we can use across our programmes to create shows that are distinctive, with a look and feel that are familiar to and loved by our viewers.
'In a time of transformation for the entire industry, I want to thank all our Daytime teams for their dedication and skill in producing high-quality, compelling live shows every day throughout this period."
It's said to all be coming as ITV tried to shave £15 million from its budget.
Lorraine took to Instagram to post a list of all the highest rated shows on ITV on Friday. She had a peak of 784,000 households that tuned in to watch her.
In what looked like an attempt to flag the news to her bosses, Lorraine wrote: "Ahem - yesterday’s show in @itv top ten. Thanks to @fern_bennett @vejk100 and all my top @lorraine team and crew #topten #topteam #love #family #happy #stillkickingass."
