Jamie Redknapp has suggested that Manchester United target Andoni Iraola could manage 'any club in the world'. The Red Devils are pondering a managerial shake-up following their dismal start to the season.
Current boss Ruben Amorim is feeling the heat, and a change could be imminent if United's dreadful form persists. A host of managers have been linked with the Old Trafford hot seat, including Bournemouth's Iraola.
The Basque coach has made waves during his stint on the South Coast, with Friday night's victory over Fulham propelling the Cherries into the Champions League spots. Redknapp has been so taken aback by Iraola's performance that he believes he would be a boon to any club, including United.
"He's incredible, what an asset to the club. I think he could manage any club in world football, I genuinely mean that,"Redknapp told Sky Sports.
"He's got so much quality, he improves players, he gives young players opportunities, the system is great, everything you do is very progressive, it's exciting, it's on the front foot.

"I would say he's one of the best managers in world football right now. They've just got to enjoy him while he's here. How long? Who knows... amazing manager at such a small club."
Fellow pundit Steve Sidwell was in full agreement, stating that players would jump at the opportunity to play under the Spanish coach. He elaborated: "He simplifies the game. As a footballer, when you go out onto the pitch, you just want two or three instructions, don't overcomplicate, I think that's what he does.
"If you look at the way Bournemouth play, high intensity, win the ball as high up the pitch as we can. They go direct; they know how to turn teams and play to their strengths.

"They've got the players around there that will do that. No egos, know their jobs, know their roles. It looks like everyone is enjoying themselves. I'd love to have played under him."
Iraola took the reins at Bournemouth back in 2023 after previous manager Gary O'Neil was given his marching orders. In his first season, he guided the club to a respectable 12th place finish, improving to ninth in the subsequent campaign.
The Cherries underwent a significant revamp in the summer, with key players such as Milos Kerkez, Ilya Zabarnyi, Dean Huijsen and Dango Outtara all being shown the door during the transfer window. However, this hasn't slowed down Bournemouth's momentum, who have managed to secure four victories from their first seven league matches of the season.
Last summer, Iraola put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with the club, although discussions regarding a contract extension are expected.
