Mel Giedroyc is a familiar face on our telly, with the actress having starred in countless shows and hosted several others over the years.
Mel forms one half of the comedy duo Mel and Sue, partnering with fellow star Sue Perkins on numerous projects after meeting at university.
The pair's latest endeavour sees them hosting ITV's new game show, Win Win with People's Postcode Lottery, which is currently being broadcast on the network's main channel on Saturday evenings.

As she makes her return to our telly screens, here we delve into Mel's life off-camera, including her famous sibling and marriage....

Mel was born in Epsom, Surrey and raised in Leatherhead, by her parents, Michal and Rosemary, reports OK!.
Michal, who sadly passed away in 2017, was an aircraft designer, civil engineer and family historian. He hailed from the aristocratic Giedroyć family of Polish-Lithuanian descent, having relocated to Britain in 1947.
In her teenage years, Mel moved to Oxford and attended Oxford High School before going on to Trinity College, Cambridge. She graduated with a degree in French and Italian.
Mel and SueMel met her comedy partner Sue Perkins whilst they were both studying at the University of Cambridge, as they were both members of the Footlights comedy club.
They quickly began forging a career as a comedy double act, before branching out into TV presenting. Mel and Sue presented Channel 4's Light Lunch and Late Lunch, and worked on the BBC One sketch show French and Saunders.
The dynamic duo began hosting The Great British Bake Off and in 2015, they bagged their own ITV chat show, with a total of 30 episodes aired. Mel and Sue's other gigs include presenting The Generation Game and Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief.
They also host the podcast Mel and Sue Should Know by Now on Audible, which kicked off earlier this year.

In addition to her work with Sue, Mel has carved out a successful solo career as a presenter and actress.
Mel has fronted shows such as Let It Shine, Have I Got News For You and The One Show on various occasions, and has taken on several commentating roles for the annual Eurovision Song Contest.
She's strutted her stuff on The Masked Singer and Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas special, as well as LOL: Last One Laughing UK.
Mel has also authored three novels, including From Here to Maternity: One Mother of a Journey, a diary based on her first pregnancy.

Mel is the youngest of four siblings. Mel's older sister is Coky Giedroyc, a film and TV director.
Coky, whose real name is Mary Rose Helen, is recognised for her work on projects like Women Talking Dirty, The Virgin Queen, The Nativity, and Penny Dreadful.
Her other sister, Kasia, is a children's author and is married to British diplomat Philip Parham.
Mel is wedded to Ben Morris, who is a television director and teacher at LAMDA. The couple are parents to two daughters.
