Farage's migrant hotel demand slammed by husband of MP murdered by far rightNigel Faragehas been slammed for stoking tensions in communities across Britain as ministers braced for a wave of asylum hotel legal fights.
Home Office plans were thrown into turmoil after the High Court granted a temporary injunction on Tuesday preventing migrants being housed in the Bell Hotel in Epping. Several local authorities indicated they plan to mount their own legal challenges demanding hotels are closed in their areas.
Mr Farage said he hoped demonstrations in the Essex town - which saw violent clashes outside the hotel in recent weeks - would "inspire similar protests around Britain". He was accused of "preying on people’s anger, fear and desperation" to divide communities after calling for people to take to the streets in peaceful demonstrations.

Full eligibility list of who can get 100% discount on council taxSeveral groups could be eligible for a full 100 per cent reduction on their council tax bill. Government regulations stipulate that certain people are exempt from the total cost, while others may receive a partial discount.
Council tax is an annual charge paid to your local council. The sum is set by your council and contributes to the funding of local services.
Your council tax bill will depend on both your location and the value of your property. Generally, if you're 18 or over, you're required to pay council tax.
Full council tax is calculated based on at least two adults living in a home. Couples cohabiting are jointly responsible for paying the bill.

Huw Edwards sports new look and carries fizz after refusing to hand back BBC pay
Disgraced former BBC News anchor Huw Edwards has been pictured holding bottles of prosecco after reports he's yet to pay back his BBC salary.
Edwards, 64, emerged for the first time in six months – looking very different with a new look. Edwards last year pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children, and has rarely been seen in public – and was last pictured puffing on a vape in February.
Six months on, the disgraced news anchor has been pictured sporting a very different look as he emerged with miniature bottles of prosecco in his hand on his birthday earlier this week. The former BBC presenter was pictured sporting a new, short white stubbly beard and glasses with a wide black trim around as he stepped out.

Poll: Is Nigel Farage stirring up tensions over asylum seekers? Finally, our Secure team is asking if you think Nigel Farage is stirring up tensions over asylum seekers?
The Government has promised to stop using asylum hotels by the end of this Parliament, but in the meantime it still needs places to house people.
Epping Forest District Council has been granted a temporary High Court injunction to block migrants from being accommodated at the town's Bell Hotel. And of course Nigel Farage sees an opportunity here, saying Reform-led councils would do “everything in their power to follow Epping’s lead.”
And a number of councils have already signalled they plan to do just that. In Hertfordshire, the Conservative-run Broxbourne Council said it was urgently seeking legal advice.
