COCONUT BAY gets the vote for a fourth course-and-distance success by beating 11 opponents for the Happy Birthday Mark Blair Handicap (4.45) at Catterick Bridge.
Tristan Davidson’s mare has won three of her eight races at Catterick - a strike-rate that can be narrowed down to 3-7 over the track’s seven furlongs if you discount a defeat over a mile and a half in the spring of 2023.
The latest win in the garrison town came in July and Coconut Bay has suffered defeat in her two subsequent starts.

But don’t write Bated Breath’s daughter off - the ground was unsuitably soft here on her penultimate outing and Coconut Bay got no cover when sixth of seven behind Patontheback in an amateur riders’ handicap at Musselburgh last time.
Rowan Scott’s course specialist is just 1lb above the mark from which she scored here earlier in the summer and should not be underestimated.
At Windsor, UNDER THE TWILIGHT is expected to give her rivals weight and a beating in the Get The Inside Track With raceday-ready.com Handicap (7.00).
On the back of a course-and-distance victory at the end of June, Rossa Ryan’s partner ran a cracker to finish a neck second to Dubai Treasure at the Qatar Goodwood Festival and a 4lb higher mark may not stop her from returning to winning ways.
