Newsboy's horseracing tips for Friday's four meetings, including six races live on ITV

SWEET WILLIAM is a worthy favourite for his bid to register back-to-back victories in the Group 2 Betfred Howard Wright Doncaster Cup Stakes (3.00) on Friday.

The John and Thady Gosden-trained stayer has run some mighty races in defeat since his one-length success from Trueshan here 12 months ago – all five losses being behind Group 1 winners.

The six-year-old doesn’t look the most straightforward of mounts for regular rider Rab Havlin, but he’s the best horse in this race on official figures and the two-mile, two-furlong distance is his optimum.

Tim Easterby’s horses are running well and REVIVAL POWER, a sister to the stable’s Nunthorpe Stakes heroine Winter Power, should show to the fore in the Group 2 Carlsberg Danish Pilsner Flying Childers Stakes (2.25).

The opening Betfred Mallard Handicap (1.15) looks open, but the sole three-year-old SYNERGISM is a hard horse for the assessor to catch up with.

The Listed Betfred Flying Scotsman Stakes (1.50) is a good opportunity for HANKELOW to make it 2-2 after a debut score at York, while PERFECT YOUR CRAFT has more to offer in the British Stallion Studs EBF Premier Fillies' Handicap (3.40).

At Salisbury, BELLA LYRA makes plenty of appeal in the rescheduled Group 3 Ire-Incentive, It Pays To Buy Irish Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes (3.25).
