Shocked Oasis fans have recalled the moment a fan fell to their death at the band’s concert at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene at the stadium on Saturday after being “found with injuries consistent with a fall”.

“I was right there,” recalled one fan according to a comment on an Oasis fan group Facebook. “It was horrific.”

The parent of one gig-goer said her teenage son "saw him falling" but was too far away to see him land. They added: "He asked me this morning to check for news about him, and there was nothing all morning so we hoped he was fine - so so sad to read the update this afternoon."

“The stadium was busy and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage. If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101.”

A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said on Sunday: “Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall.

“Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.
