Olivia Colman has admitted that she feels as if she's 'being unfaithful' to her husband whenever she has to film a sex scene. The actress, 51, who has been married to Ed Sinclair since 2001, can't even deal with 'showing skin' on camera or keeping her modesty throughout the shoot because it feels like she is cheating.
She said: "Anything where I have to show any skin, I don't like. Pretending to have sex… I don't like it. I feel like I'm being unfaithful. Even when they go, 'You can wear your jeans' or a cushion between you. I don't want to do that. I don't want to do that."
Olivia was chatting on the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast when she made the candid confession. The topic of conversation came out after her The Roses co-star Benedict Cumberbatch, who had previously made an appearance on the show, had asked her what scared her about acting. Mean Girls actress Amy chimed in: "The people that are good at it, I'll watch them all day long, and they're comfy. But the on-screen orgasm..." and Olivia replied: "No, absolutely not… Thank God for intimacy coordinators!"

The Academy Award-winning star, who has two sons and a daughter with Ed, then went on to sing her husband's praises as they reached a major milestone in their marriage.
She said: "He's my best friend and I fancy him, which is quite nice. It is our 25th wedding anniversary next year. We aren't big fighters, which apparently isn't very healthy."
The former Beautiful People star doesn't normally comment on her personal life, but recently admitted that she and her husband have been getting to grips with a quieter home after their eldest left home for university.
On the SmartLess podcast, Olivia said: “Oh God, empty nesting… It’s heartbreaking. “Our big one is in his second year of uni. When he was about to go – we knew for a year, obviously, he was going to go to uni – I pre-grieved. Every time he walked past me, I’d burst into tears. I just imagined him going back to being a baby in my arms.

“He was so sweet – he would give me a cuddle, knew I needed it. My husband was going, ‘It’ll be great, it’s exciting, this is what you want for them’.
"And then on the day we were driving him to uni, our youngest came out of the gate and watched us drive down the road and stood there waving and Ed burst into tears. I went, ‘Are you f***ing kidding? We’ve got five hours in the car, you can’t start!’”
Of her kids, Olivia added: “Two are boys and one’s a girl so it’s a bit of difference there, but also not really. I feel when people talk about the difference between genders, I don’t really see it between them.
"They are nearly 20, nearly 18, and nearly 10 so there was a bit of a gap.
“We were home and dry and went back in and had another.”
