Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at the age of 76, his family announced in a devastating statement.
The brief but emotional message shared that his loved ones, including his wife of more than 40 years, Sharon Osbourne, were by his side during his final moments on Tuesday morning. Sharon is said to be "simply heartbroken" over losing her "best friend".
The sad news comes just weeks after Ozzy gave what would be his final live performance during the Back to the Beginning show at Villa Park, the home stadium of Aston Villa.
On the same night, his daughter Kelly Osbourne got engaged - and Ozzy had a hilarious reaction.

Kelly's partner, Sid Wilson, dropped to one knee to propose in front of her famous parents backstage following the band's final performance on Saturday, July 5.
After the goodbye performance, Ozzy's daughter Kelly, 40, received an enormous shock when her partner, with whom she shares a son called Sidney, asked the all-important question.
Kelly turned to Instagram on Sunday (July 6) to reflect on the momentous evening. Posting a collection of snaps from the gig with her 2.8m followers, Kelly penned: "To say that yesterday was magic was an understatement!
"I can't even wright this without tears streaming down my face! Thank you to everyone who came to support my dad. Thank you to the fans who without we are nothing!
"My dad got his moment in the sun! He was able to say thank you and good bye in the most beautiful way! #ozzyForever #blacksabbath #backtothebiginning."

An hour afterwards, she then revealed her engagement announcement, posting: "Oh and this happened yesterday!," accompanied by a clip of the romantic moment. Before the proposal, Sharon could be heard saying: "We've got to be quiet, hold on," as she hushed those backstage.
Sid then declared: "Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world." However, the heartfelt proposal was quickly disrupted by Ozzy, who quipped: "F**k off. You're not marrying my daughter."
Chuckling, Sid pressed on: "Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?".
A stunned Kelly then spun round to face the camera before nodding 'yes'.
The newly-engaged pair then embraced in a lengthy hug and kiss whilst their nearest and dearest applauded.
Following Kelly's confirmation of her relationship with Sid in 2022, an insider close to the celebrity told The Mirror : "Kelly and Sid met when his band was touring with Ozzfest [the music festival created by Kelly's parents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne] in 1999.
"They have remained friends since. They are very happy together."
