Strictly Come Dancing 'confirms' who will leave first as star suffers huge blow

Send Push

BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans have 'worked out' who will be the first celebrity to leave the competition next week after spotting a huge clue in the first launch show.

Tonight, all 15 celebrities took to the dancefloor to perform with their professional partners live for the first time, and despite being scored for their routines, they're all safe this week. However, next week one couple will be the first to be eliminated, and fans 'already know' who it is.

Ross King took to the stage with his partner Jowita Przystałto dance the Cha Cha, however the judges were less than impressed, as the pair scored just 10 overall, with Craig Revel Horwood even calling the performance "very awkward".

Now, fans are sure Ross will be the first out, as they took to X, formerly known asTwitter, to discuss. One fan penned: "Ross King is giving first out energy," while another observed: "Far too much standing about in Ross’s routine. Likely to be first out this year on this evidence…"

Ross also expressed that he doesn't have high hopes for himself, as he revealed he told his girlfriend Bridget to attend the first live show as he doesn't think there will be many more for him.

The judges scores weren't the only blow Ross received. Earlier today, Lorraine star Ross King had even more bad news. Hours before even seeing him dance live, BOYLE sports bookmakers placed the TV presenter at the very bottom of the leader board, giving him odds of just 80/1 to lift the Glitterball Trophy.

At the other end of the table, actor Lewis Cope is the hot favourite to win at 7/4, while Ellie Goldstein follows closely behind at 7/2.

Meanwhile Amber Davies, who stepped in earlier this week to replace Dani Dyer after she got injured, has already shaken up the competition by storming into joint fourth place with 13/2 odds.

It's a great position for the former Love Island star and West End performer who was only informed on her appearance earlier this week. It came after Dani unfortunately had to pull out due to a fractured ankle. Fans were unsure whether the BBC show would be able to find a replacement so quickly, but yesterday, it was revealed Amber Davies would be stepping in last minute.

Ahead of making her Strictly debut on Saturday night's show, Amber shared: "This has been the craziest 24 hours of my life.

"I've watched Strictly with my family since I was younger and to now be part of the show is a dream come true. I'm going to give it my all and I am sending Dani well wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope I do her proud."

But things could all change as the competition heats up...
