Strictly Come Dancing star Amber Davies wowed the judges in her first performance - but there were tears after. Amber was announced as a last minute addition to this year's line-up after Dani Dyer had to suddenly pull out.
Amber is best known for being on Love Island back in 2017 but has since risen to fame through her West End career. She most recently starred in The Great Gatsby and was announced this week to be playing the role of Elle Woods in the UK tour of Legally Blonde.
However, some viewers have pointed out that it isn't fair to other contestants that Amber comes from a dance background. She managed to impress the judges with her Waltz alongside partner Nikita Kuzmin.

The pair were emotional as they discussed their short time on the show so far. Upstairs, talking to Claudia, Nikita gave a shoutout to Dani Dyer and quipped that he was unemployed for two days, where he repeatedly cleaned his house.
He even joked he applied for a Tesco Clubcard, forcing Claudia to say there were other supermarkets available as per the BBC's guidelines of no product placement or advertising.
Amber has gone on to pursue opportunities as an actor and made her West End debut as Judy Bernly in 9 to 5: The Musical at the Savoy Theatre back in 2019. She then took on the role of Lorraine Baines McFly in Back to the Future: The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre, and has been in touring productions of Bring It On: The Musical and Pretty Woman: The Musical.
Most recently she played Jordan Baker in the Great Gatsby musical, which had a limited run at the London Coliseum that concluded just weeks ago. She starred alongside the likes of Corbin Bleu and Rachel Tucker in the show.

Amber's next role will be Elle Woods in a touring production of the musical Legally Blonde. She is also preparing for live shows of her podcast Call to Stage, which are due to take place at the Fortune Theatre on Sunday.
Guests have included her 9 to 5: the Musical co-star Louise Redknapp who did Strictly herself in 2016. Whilst an episode released in December last year saw Amber interview choreographer and former Strictly judge and Arlene Phillips.
Amber has also interviewed her boyfriend Ben Joyce after beginning a romance with him when they were co-stars in Back To The Future: The Musical in 2022.

She's now being supported by him amid her Strictly journey, with Ben, who once starred in a West End production of Jersey Boys, reacting in a post earlier: "Does she ever stop?!! No she doesn't!!"
