She wrote alongside the clip: "Here we go! I'm locked away in a big yellow Box - and I'm ready to face whatever challenge is there when those doors slide open.
"Yikes!!! 10 celebrities. The complete unknown. Welcome to The Box. Coming soon to @itv "
It didn't take long for followers to respond to the announcement, with loads expressing their enthusiasm about The Chase favourite participating in the programme, reports Bristol Live.
One viewer commented: "Oh, I will most definitely be watching this! Good luck, Jenny." Another posted: "Can't wait!!!"
Meanwhile another admirer quipped: "No one puts Jenny in a box - Apart from ITV" Whilst someone else added: "Good luck Jenny!"
The Box, which is scheduled to broadcast next year, will feature a group of famous faces confined in yellow containers before being moved to an unknown destination.

Once there, they'll encounter various trials, including physical, mental, logical and funny.
Nevertheless, they must ensure they tackle the trials effectively as the two poorest-performing celebrities will then compete head-to-head in 'The Duel'.
At the end of each instalment, the defeated contestant will be booted off the programme. The Box will be fronted by former Match of the Day star Gary Lineker, who expressed his enthusiasm when discussing his fresh presenting role.

He declared: "I can't wait to host The Box. I've always felt right at home in the Box on a football pitch and whilst this is a different proposition, the fundamentals are similar.
"The contestants will have to quickly and masterfully work out how each game works, whilst also trying to get ahead of the competition to take control.
"It's going to be unpredictable and thrilling to watch, and I'm excited that I get to have a front row seat to all the action."
This week, the celebrity line-up was revealed with names including Joey Essex, Sara Davies, Graeme Souness and Ellie Taylor set to battle it out alongside Jenny.
The programme will also feature John Bercow, Shakira Khan, JB Gill, Ranvir Singh and Danny Aarons.
Whilst ITV hasn't confirmed an exact launch date for The Box, the broadcaster has revealed it will air next year.
