Thriller fans are in for a treat as Netflix has just announced an adaptation of a thriller by author S.A. Cosby.
Joe Robert Cole is fronting the adaptation, which will star Gangs of London and Black Rabbit actor Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù in the lead role.
Set in the American South, the forthcoming nine-episode series follows a small-town sheriff, Titus Crown, as he tries to stop a murderer who believes they’re on a divine mission.
The series is based on the 2023 novel All the Sinners Bleed, and it will share the same title.
Tudum's synopsis reads: "Haunted by his devout mother’s untimely death, the first Black sheriff in a small Bible Belt county must lead the hunt for a serial killer who has quietly been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God."

John Douglas Thompson, known for his roles in The Gilded Age and Mare of Easttown, has also been cast as Albert Crown, Titus’ father.
Thompson told Tudum: "I was attracted to All the Sinners Bleed for its undeniable singularity. There is a depth and authenticity to this story that I am excited to explore and bring to life."
According to NPR, author Cosby is “one of the best-known names in the new, wonderfully diverse wave of crime fiction writers".
His novel was not only a New York Times bestseller, but it also featured on former president Barack Obama’s summer reading list.

Fans of the book have taken to Google Reviews to share their thoughts, with Jasmin Anderson saying: "Absolutely brilliant novel, has everything you could want in a detective driven thriller.
"It was chilling, compelling and the quality of the writing was second to none. Crosby had me hooked the entire time, the plot is so complex it had me questioning how difficult it must’ve been to devise such a great plot."
Monica Fuller added: "I loved this - the story itself was well thought out, superbly drip fed to the readers. It was brilliant.
"I cry at some point in all his books. His style of writing is beguiling, it makes me unable to put the book down! I’m still in my pyjamas at 3pm cause I couldn’t stop reading! Thank you C.S.Cosby. Your gift is hugely appreciated by this fan."
