Travis Kelce's very honest Life of a Showgirl review revealed

Send Push

Taylor Swift has shared Travis Kelce's true feelings about The Life of a Showgirl. The American chart-topper has today released her 12th studio album, which is expected to top the charts across the globe.

But while her dedicated fan base across the globe is overjoyed with the release, one person in particular is overly excited, and that is Taylor's future husband, NFL icon Travis. Currently, Taylor is in the UK promoting her record and will be appearing on shows such as Capital Breakfast, The Graham Norton Show, and BBC Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James.

Speaking to Greg on Radio 1, Taylor shared an insight into her life with Travis away from the cameras and his reaction to the album. "When did you play it to Travis - to Big Trav? Can I call him Big Trav?" asked Greg.

Taylor responded: "You absolutely can. He responds to pretty much anything. He's a really easy-going guy; you will absolutely love him when you meet him. But yeah, I would play it for him as soon as I'd come back from Sweden.

"As soon as I'd come back from Sweden, I'd just play it for him, and I knew that this was the kind of album he was going to love the most. He's so supportive of all of it, but he's a real vibes guy."

Swift, 35, had been working on the album while on her gigantic Eras Tour, after speaking to Swedish producer Max Martin in May 2024. Following their conversation, she flew to Sweden between shows in order to record the album.

She had previously said that the album reflects the "exuberant and electric and vibrant" energy she felt while on her huge tour, saying it was "the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place" she had ever experienced. We'll be bringing you live updates throughout the exciting day.

Speaking about her album on Hits Radio Breakfast Show, Taylor told hosts Fleur East, Will Best and James Barr: "One thing about this album that I think is really exciting is that oftentimes when I make a record there's like a lag time between when I made it and when it enters the world.

"Like for example, my last album, Tortured Post Department, by the time that album came out, I was in a completely different point in my life. With this one I would say that this album is a complete and total snapshot of what my life looks like right now."

Elsewhere, Taylor also shared an insight into her wedding planning just months after Travis popped the question. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," they said, alongside a dynamite stick emoji, as they announced their engagement.

And it appears that she's also sorted her entertainment for her grand wedding. When asked whether her close friend Ed Sheeran will be performing, Taylor told Will, Fleur and James: "I mean it would be hard to keep him from it I think!

"That's the thing he's like 'I'm always being asked to sing at weddings' and you're like 'Ed, if there's a stag,e you know that you'll be on it!' He knows what people want, and he wants to give people what they want.

"That's the fun thing about our friendship, we both love performing, and we love writing, and we love singing. It's actually not that hard to talk either of us into performing at anything!"
