Victoria Beckham breaks down in tears as she makes admission in Netflix series trailer

Victoria Beckham has made a shocking revelation in thefirst glimpse of her upcoming documentary.

Netflix has confirmed that an original docuseries will be landing on the platform next month. The three-part series is set to be released on 9 October, produced by the same creators of the Emmy award winning BECKHAM series.

While the streaming giant has already released a series on her ex-footballer husband David Beckham, this one will instead spotlight the former Spice Girl. Netflix teases: "VICTORIA BECKHAM, a three-part documentary series, gives all of us a front row seat as Victoria prepares for the fashion show of her life.

"From the teenager who restyled her school uniform, to the Spice Girl who fought to be accepted by a notoriously demanding fashion industry, Victoria Beckham is the story of resilience, reinvention and self-discovery.

"From the makers of the Emmy award-winning BECKHAM and the award-winning director of Michelle Obama's Becoming.", reports the Express.

Now, a brand new sneak peek has been unveiled as the star makes a shocking confession. In the trailer she can be heard saying: "We were millions in the red", as David admitted it "made me panic."

With exclusive interviews and revelations, the docuseries will share with viewers a brand new behind the scenes look into her life with her career and her family.

In the trailer, the star can later be heard saying: "I have never forgotten where I come from. Performing was my dream, the Spice Girls made me accept who I am, then all of a sudden, it stopped."

She also added: "That uncool kid at school that was awkward, that was me, but I desperately wanted to be liked, have a sense of worth."

Taking to Instagram to share the first look trailer, Beckham wrote: "I think there’s real strength in vulnerability, and that’s really what this documentary is about — from the Spice Girls, to the highs and the inevitable lows that have shaped me along the way.

"I have never forgotten where I came from…. I’m so excited to give people a glimpse behind the scenes of the businesses I’ve been building for the past two decades and celebrate the remarkable people who bring it all to life. I’m endlessly thankful for them and excited for all that’s still to come. Victoria Beckham — launching October 9 2025, only on Netflix."

One fan replied: "And I thought I couldn’t wait for this and now after this trailer, I really really CANNOT wait for this!" Another added: "I’m excited for this one. I like Victoria and I love she’s getting the respect she deserves."

According to Netflix's Tudum, the series will trace Victoria Beckham's story from her younger years and unprecedented success with the Spice Girls. It will also explore her relationship with David Beckham as well as her "relentless work to establish herself in the cutthroat world of haute couture".
