Rajesh Gola, a resident of Ghaziabad who was a victim of violence in Nepal, has died. According to information, Ramveer Singh Gola had gone to Kathmandu with his wife Rajesh Gola to visit Pashupatinath temple. After the fire broke out in the hotel, he tried to save his life by jumping from the fourth floor, due to which he got injured. The couple was separated in the attack of the miscreants. On Wednesday, Ramveer Singh's son got the information that his mother had died. Ramveer Singh lives with his family in Nandgram police station area.
Ramveer Singh Gola, a resident of Master Colony in Ghaziabad's Nandgram police station area, had gone to Kathmandu with his wife Rajesh Gola, 55, to visit Pashupatinath temple on September 7. After visiting Lord Pashupatinath, the couple was staying at Hyatt Residency in Kathmandu. At around 11:30 pm, miscreants set the hotel on fire.
I jumped from the fourth floorWhen the hotel was engulfed in fire, the couple tried to save their lives by jumping from the fourth floor. Due to the efforts of the rescue team, many people fell on the mattresses laid out beforehand but both were injured. Meanwhile, the rioters attacked again. In the chaos, the couple got separated. On Wednesday, Ramveer Singh's son Vishal received a call from Nepal that his mother Rajesh Devi died during treatment.
Relatives arrived to bring the bodyRamveer Singh Gola, who was caught in the riot, was found injured in the relief camp two days later. The woman's body is expected to be brought to her residence in Master Colony, Ghaziabad by tomorrow. Her family members who came to collect the body said that she did not receive treatment after being injured, due to which she died. With the help of the Indian Embassy, the body reached Sonauli on Thursday evening from where the family left for Ghaziabad in an ambulance.
