The deceased woman Jasmandeep Kaur had gone against her family and had a love marriage with a young man from the same village 5 years ago. Due to the animosity over this, her accused father Rajveer Singh and brother Parampal Singh killed Jasmandeep and her daughter. Both the accused are absconding after committing the double murder.

In this case, on the statement of deceased woman Jashmandeep Kaur's father-in-law Udaybhan, the police have registered a murder case against the accused Rajveer Singh and Parampal Singh and have started efforts to arrest them. DSP Harjeet Singh said that both bodies are currently being kept at the civil hospital.

According to the information, Jashmandeep Kaur had a love marriage with Ravi Sharma, a resident of her own village Virk Kalan, about five years ago. Her father Rajveer Singh Nambardar and brother Parampal Singh were opposing her daughter's marriage. Both of them remained silent after the marriage due to this rivalry. On Monday morning, Jashmandeep Kaur came to the bus stand near village Virk Kalan with her daughter. She had left home to get medicine. Jashmandeep Kaur met her father Rajveer Singh Nambardar and brother Parampal Singh at the bus stand. Here, the accused got into an argument with Jashmandeep Kaur. During this, the accused attacked Jashmandeep Kaur and her innocent daughter with a sharp object. The people nearby took the seriously injured woman and girl to the hospital. Where the doctors declared Jashmandeep Kaur dead, while her two-year-old daughter died during treatment in the afternoon.

The deceased woman's husband Ravi Sharma said that everything was going on normally after the marriage. There was no dispute or confrontation between the two families after the marriage. Before this, his family and he had not received any kind of threat. On Monday morning at around 8 o'clock, his wife left the house with her two-year-old daughter to get medicine, when his father-in-law and brother-in-law attacked his wife and daughter at the bus stand and killed both of them. DSP Harjeet Singh Mann said that the police team reached the spot and started investigation. The DSP said that on the statement of the deceased's father-in-law Udaybhan, the police have registered a case of murder against the accused Rajveer Singh and Parampal Singh and have started efforts to arrest both of them. The DSP said that the police is investigating the entire matter in depth.
