Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan unrecognisable as she ditches overalls for lavish gown

Jeremy Clarkson's latest recruit, Harriet Cowan, looked unrecognisable as she swapped her farm gear for a stunning ball gown at the NTAs on Wednesday evening. The 24-year-old shared her beautiful look on Instagram as she was worlds apart from her usual muddy dungarees and welly boots.

The Amazon Prime show had been nominated for the Factual Entertainment Programme award at the prestigious award ceremony. The whole cast, including Harriet, Jeremy Clarkson, Lisa Hogan, and Kaleb Cooper, took to the stage to accept the accolade. Clarkson said: "We're genuinely thrilled. And equally, there are those of us who farm here and we've scrubbed up so well you wouldn't know it. But there are farmers, Caleb and Harriet and Charlie, and so on, and Gerald who isn't here, who work incredibly hard. I mean, way harder than anyone in this room. And I do mean that."

Posting on Instagram after the event, Harriet shared her own joy at winning. She wrote: "OH MY GOD! I had the most incredible night at the @officialntas , and to top it off WE WON !!!"

She continued: "Clarkson's Farm has been one of the best things to happen to the farming industry, to show the truth behind it all and open up the harsh realities farmers face every day! And I for one am so proud to be a part of a show that has made such a huge impact to those hardworking individuals and I hope we did all those farmers proud, we represented you guys last night and to top it off it was back British farming day !!!

"But honestly thank you all so much for voting you have made our year !! Now the cows are hungry so get back to work !!"

The young farmer also shared some snaps from her red carpet debut. She wore a strapless, floor-length, white dress that glistened in the camera lights. Harriet also wore her blonde hair down in loose curls and finished the look off with a pearl necklace.

Fans were extremely supportive of her and the rest of the team. One commented: "Well done! You look phenomenal!"

Another added: "How beautiful and I hope you and all had a wonderful time," while a third said: "Congratulations! You looked incredible."
