Coronation Street icon teases 'news is finally out' as sister joins ITV show

The highly anticipated return of Coronation Street's Eva Price (played by Catherine Tyldesley) with her family in tow has delighted viewers of the long-running ITV soap. They were especially thrilled to see her daughter, Susie Price, who was a baby when Eva left the cobbles. Now, the youngster is a sassy seven-year-old played by newcomer Aurora Bradshaw. Thankfully, the budding star has someone to lean on if she gets nervous on the Manchester set.

Her older brother, Bobby Bradshaw, is well known to fans of the show as Jake Windass, the son of Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston). The proud actor revealed his sister had joined the cast in a touching Instagram post. He wrote: "The news is finally out!!! Congratulations to my little sister Aurora! She is part of the new family, and her first episode Airs on 27th October."

He later shared snaps from a surprise watch party his family threw for the young star's first episode. Bursting with pride, he captioned it: "Only the best for the best!" Eva originally left Weatherfield with her baby daughter when she decided to move to France following the devastating suicide of her daughter's father, Aidan (Shayne Ward).

The returning Susie first appeared on screens on Monday, October 27, as Eva arrived back in Weatherfield with Susie's stepdad, her husband Ben (Aaron McCusker), and her stepson Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike). The family was quickly followed by Ben's mother, Maggie (Pauline McGlynn), as they announced they were taking over ownership of the iconic Rovers Return.

Susie made an immediate impression on fans who took to X following her debut to heap praise on the character. One user penned: "I love that Susie is so sassy like her mother," as another added: "Susie is suddenly my fav person ever, what a diva."

A third gushed: "Haven't laughed this much at an episode of #Corrie in an awful long time. Susie is just brilliant!" as a fourth penned: "I'm loving the new family with Eva, little Susie is a cheeky madam!" A fifth commented: "Susie showing some of the others how to act..."

Meanwhile, a sixth shared: "Definitely a Connor and a Price - Susie is a right little diva. Wonder where she gets that from? Loving her already. What a little star."
