The holidays may be coming to a close, but the warm weather is said to persist, with one European country boasting summer highs throughout winter. Spanish city Seville, found in the centre of Andalusia, promises an average of over 30°C as England begins to drop towards its coldest period. The first week of the month marks a high of a surprising 36°C between September 4-7. But for those awaiting/planning to book their trip, do not despair - with only two weeks below the 30 mark, a return of scorching temperatures comes on Saturday 27, at 30°C, climbing to 33°C by the last day of the month.
Rich in culture and architecture, the location hosts tourists year-round, providing the perfect escape for sun-lovers and jet-setters. Claimed to be the continent's warmest city throughout the year, Seville is just as good in the winter, especially for those wanting to save with off-peak flights and avoid teaming crowds.
The Seville Guide writes that some of it's best weather is seen in the Autumn months of September and October, with life slowly returning to the city as locals return from their own jet-setting. Offering pop-up events and the reopening of businesses, Andalusia promises the city break you deserve.
Indulge in Seville's warm cityscape, From the Seville Cathedral to the grand Alcázar, to the traditional flamenco shows, visitors can immerse themselves in a winter full of culture, street life and sights. And what's more, the city averages at just below 23°C this month, with the coldest day no less than 25°C on Saturday 14.
With one final warm day predicted to land this week in the UK, September will see temperatures of 20°C on Wednesday 3, 2025, with parts of England showing an average high of 19.7°C for the first third of the month. Nights are suggested to drop to a low of and 10.7°C. It's not too late Brits.
Brits visiting should consider the UV - a steady seven. Whilst not as hot as it's mid-year peak, tourists should remember to:
