Royal fans have taken to social media this week, calling for two members of the Royal Family to become working royals. Although loved members of the family, Zara and Mike Tindall have no royal titles, which means they carry out no official work for the monarchy.

Instead, Princess Anne's daughter, 44, and Mike, 46, have their own careers, and only step out on the royal stage for big events, with Christmas being one of them. While the royal couple seem more than happy with this arrangement, which gives them the privacy to live a more ordinary life, royal fans have taken to X to express just how much they wish Zara and Mike would become working royals.

One fan wrote on X: "Please offer these two jobs as working royals. Surely, they would be great representatives. The British Royal Family is in desperate need of a boost to support our beautiful future King and Queen."

Another said: "Such a lovely, loving, fun couple. They would absolutely be a refreshing, hardworking and respectful working royal couple. Perfect for Prince William's future monarchy."

Someone else wrote: "They would be brilliant but they seem to have worked out a perfect life for themselves and their lovely family."

A fourth quipped: "I think they'd be great."

While royal fans may want the couple to take on a working role in the monarchy, this is not believed to be something Mike and Zara want for themselves.

This has been expressed by Zara before, who has previously spoken about how grateful she is for her mother Princess Anne, 75, and the fact she decided not to give Zara and her brother Peter royal titles.

Speaking previously on the Total Sport podcast with Rob Burrows, Zara said: "From my point of view, I was obviously very lucky that my mother didn't give us any titles so I really commend her on that.

"We were very lucky that we got to do it a bit our own way.

"My family has a great work ethic as well which I'm hoping they instilled in me and is still going to this day."
