Here come the woke police again. This time it's actress-of-the-moment Sydney Sweeney who's in hot water... for having blue eyes. That's right. A new ad for American Eagle jeans, stating the White Lotus star "has great jeans" has been branded "Nazi propaganda" by hysterical social media users who declared its promoting ideals of white racial superiority.

Oh, give it a rest will you. It's not. It's celebrating the good looks of a beautiful young woman who's the hottest name in Hollywood. It's also a nod to the famous Brooke Shield Calvin Klein ad of yesteryear. You can bet we wouldn't be having this debate at all if she wasn't white. Ignore them Sydney - you do look incredible.

The name Yahya became the 93rd most popular boy's name in the UK in 2024 - jumping 33 places into the top 100 boy's names, according to official figures. So what, you might think.

Despite this, 583 people in the UK thought Yahya was a suitable name to give their sons. It says it all, really. What should we expect next? Adolf making a comeback? Somehow I doubt it.

From looney Labour to crazy Corbyn... Coventry councillor Grace Lewis has defected from Keir Starmer's party to Jeremy and Zarah Sultana's new hard-left party. Oh look, the Three Musketeers. I'm sure Nigel Farage is quaking in his boots.

Losing my voice - well it's still there, just as a whisper - has been really tough, I must admit. But while I am being quiet for the first time in my life, I am appreciating the tranquility and peace that a little more silence can bring. It's amazing how content you can be with the still, and the presence of loved ones at your side. In fact, being loved is the greatest gift of all. And I've felt that immeasurably in the last week. It's been wonderful.
