Fox News erupted into an explosive row as presenter Sean Hannity asked a guest about United States President Donald Trump. American TV personality, Stephen A Smith, was welcomed on to the news channel but within minutes the pair were at loggerheads.
The heated clash began as the host asked: "Do you want to say now, tonight, 'Hannity, you were right about President Trump, he has been a great President'?" Smith ferociously shook his head, with a frown appearing on his face as he exclaimed: "No, I'm not saying that! I'm not saying that! No, no, no! I'm not willing to say that." But Hannity didn't back down as he declared that it was "the truth", while the two men shouted over each other. "Let me tell you why I'm not going to say it," Smith demanded as they continued to interrupt each other.
Eventually, Hannity sat back with his arms folded and a huge grin on his face as the show's guest explained: "I heard about the 10 trillion investments for manufacturing autos. Those are pledges.
"I seen a jobs report saying 113,000 jobs expected in July but we only got about 73." As his rant continued, the show's host continued to say his name over and over again but the interruption was falling on un-listening ears as Smith raged on saying that he wanted "commitment" from the President.
But Hannity continued to add fuel to the fire as he laughed once more and said: "You can't say the words that you were wrong. Just admit it, you were wrong."
Smith replied: "I'm saying with all the good things that you say Trump is doing, you keep talking a lot more about that stuff," referring to a story about Hilary Clinton.
The rest of the interview followed the same chaos as the men continued to scream, shout and rant over each other - desperate to have their voices heard.
Fans on social media shared their own thoughts on the heated chat. Posting to X/Twitter, one wrote: "What's the point of interviewing someone you won't let speak?"
Another added: "Two unconscionable blowhards. Made for TV clown show. Brutal," while a third said: "How can people watch this trash? Smh."
