GB News halted their live show as the Duke of Sussex arrived at the Wellness Charity Awards on Monday. Prince Harry - who has travelled back to the UK for the first time in five months - privately laid a wreath and paid his respects to the late Queen in Windsor, where she is buried on the anniversary of her death. Presenter Martin Daubney spoke to royal commentator Cameron Walker, who was live at the ceremony, who addressed the sentiment towards the Duke of Sussex in the UK, as he makes a rare return to Britain for a charity appearance. The correspondent admitted there is still "resentment" from the public felt towards the duke. It comes after growing speculation about whether Prince Harry will meet his father during his UK visit, with the two not having met face to face since February 2024, soon after King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer. It was also said Harry has not yet met with his brother William amid ongoing tensions with the royals.

GB News host Martin said: "It seems inconceivable to many ordinary people that three years since the Queen's death, which will weigh heavily on the hearts of many viewers that Harry will not comfort his father on this day, particularly, having not seen him since the cancer diagnosis." Royal correspondent Cameron explained it's "very tricky," before adding that when they cover Harry viewers and listeners regularly get in touch and complain. He said: "[They say] why are you talking about Prince Harry? There is still quite a resentment, I think, amongst the British public towards him. You look at the opinion polls and he is the third least popular member of the Royal Family."

He contined: "I think [Harry] is wanting to change that. It's three years to the day since we lost Queen Elizabeth II. It was probably three years ago that he was getting on a jet alone to get to Balmoral on time to see Her Majesty before she passed away. He didn't make it. Neither did the rest of the Royal Family - Prince William, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward on the RAF plane.

"They didn't speak then. King Charles is at Balmoral and marking this day privately with the Queen. Prince William is keeping calm and carrying on with the work he was doing this morning at the W.I and Prince Harry doing the same here with WellChild.

"They have busy schedules - are they going to meet? We don't know. I suspect [Harry] doesn't either."

It is unknown whether Prince Harry will be meeting Prince William or King Charles during his UK visit.

Prince Harry's wife Meghan and their children have remained at their home in California.

At the WellChild awards the Duke of Sussex is supporting a charity that helps seriously ill children and their families.

Harry is patron of the charity which wants to shine a light on the resilience of children with complex medical needs, with the awards now in their 20th year.

On Tuesday, he will be in Nottingham where is expected to announce a significant donation to a Children in Need project and on Wednesday he will be at Imperial College London, to visit the Centre for Blast Injury Studies.
