GB News presenter Ellie Costello spoke live from Windsor Castle where Donald Trump is set to meet King Charles as part of his first full day in an unprecendented second state visit. The US President arrived in London on Tuesday night and is also set to meet the UK Prime Minister. But Sir Keir Starmer has been dealt another humiliating blow ahead of their meeting, as his "one in, one out" migration flights are legally blocked. It comes as a GB News commentator suggested Labour ignored "thousands of warnings" that there plan won't stop the migrant crisis in a breaking news announcement.

They discussed if Trump's arrival to the UK was "fortunate timing for the embattled" Prime Minister as he continues to face increasing pressure amid a number of scandals which have hit the Labour Party in recent weeks. From Angela Rayner's departure to Peter Mandelson's exit.

Ellie began: "Can we talk about this major headache for the PM which is this 'one in, one out' migrant returns deal with France which seems to be 'one in but can't get one out' at the moment.

Because there was one man that was trying to deport him on Monday on an Air France flight. It was stopped bu the High Court. Claims from this asylum seeker he felt he would be left destitute if returns to Paris. What do you make of it and what does it mean for this deal?"

Commentator Jennifer Powers claimed this government had previously been warned.

"They were warned thousands of times," she explained, "that the constitutional settlement in this country does not allow us to secure our borders."

Jennifer went on: "They had plenty of time to come up with a plan for how they would deal with an influx of illegal immigrants. We need deportations.

Without deportations there seems to be a very strong incentive for people to come into Britain illegally."

She added Yvette Cooper's migrant plan had been met with much "fanfare" but has failed to deliver any results.

Jennifer said: "Despite the warnings the government didn't take them to heart. They pushed ahead thinking this would work.

"Perhaps at last the government will understand the true scale of the challenge they face in reforming both our institutions and our laws to secure our borders."

Viewers reacted to the coverage as one fumed: "It was always a non starter and Starmer knows it - He shouldn't have been so quick to scrap the Rwanda plan!! He has failed and needs to go!"

Another remarked: "Labour has failed by every measure.. record unpopularity, corruption, and a desperate grip on power. It's clear they're not in it for the people.. only for power itself."

A third argued: "Any system based on numbers ("one in, one out") is ripe for being challenged because it's easy to argue it's "unfair" ie it can be argued it's not based fully on criteria in law but whether some unrelated number allows it."
