Meghan Markle was reunited with her daughter Princess Lilibet's godfather at the weekend as they attended two of the same glitzy events. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, and Tyler Perry were both in attendance at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood, California, and Kris Jenner's 007-themed 70th birthday party at Jeff Bezos's Beverly Hills estate.
Meghan and Perry, who are known to be close friends, were not pictured together. Instead, the Duchess was photographed with her husband Prince Harry, 41, who was by his wife's side after a few days apart as he completed charitable engagements in Canada last week. Meghan and Perry first became friends when he let the Sussexes use his LA home after they quit royal life in 2020. He also gave the couple the use of his security team.
Talking to Oprah Winfrey in 2021 about his generosity to the family, Meghan said: "It gave us breathing room to try to figure out what we were going to do."
Meghan and Perry were last pictured together in December 2024.
The Duchess has not been seen with Perry since it emerged just months ago that he is being sued by actor Derek Dixon over allegations of sexual harassment, assault and retaliation.
Perry has strongly denied the claims. A statement, given to People magazine by his lawyers, read: "Tyler will not be shaken down and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail."
Meghan has not commented on this matter.
