A new revelation about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor could be on the way, a royal insider has warned. On Thursday, King Charles took the world by surprise when Buckingham Palace issued a bombshell statement announcing that the monarch was to formally take away all of Andrew's royal titles.
The statement also confirmed that Andrew would be leaving his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion and will be moving to a property on the King's private Sandringham estate instead. The actions have been taken as a result of various scandals Andrew has been entangled in following his previous friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
While Andrew has always denied accusations against him, including claims by the late Virginia Giuffree that he slept with her three times when she was just 17, the scandals he was named in continued to distract from the work of the monarchy and, according to one royal insider, may not be over.
Speaking on GB News, former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for King Charles when he was The Prince of Wales between 2004 and 2011, said that he has a "gut feeling" a new bombshell revelation is on the way.
Mr Harrold said: "My gut feeling is that something bigger is going to come out.
"The Royal Family are not silly, they know exactly what they are doing and to remove these titles, to remove his birthright, to take all that away... they are not doing this lightly.
"There is something going on. There is something brewing and I think they're getting ready for whatever is going to happen. They're getting ready for it."
Mr Harrold also said that by stripping Andrew of his titles and his Windsor mansion, the Royal Family are trying to distance themselves from him.
It is believed the King's decision to do this has been supported by the wider family, especially Prince William, who is first-in-line to the throne.
It is also believed Prince Harry, who quit royal life in 2020 and moved to America, also thinks his father King Charles has done the right thing.
Andrew has not been seen publicly since Thursday's announcement.
